Will the real expensive sweater please step forward?

The “blue” sweater (actually it’s more teal) in the middle of the top row cost $60. And I paid it.
You can buy 15.42 sweaters at $3.89 for the price of one at $60.
I mean really, for $60 I could clean out my sweater collection every season and replace them all for $60, and feel like I have a whole new wardrobe!
And that’s not even counting if I shopped on Sundays, when certain colored tags are only $1.99…
I’d keep my Hearts and Houndstooth, though….

What a great lesson Brenda! I was way off in my “pick”! That truly shows that the VALUE of clothing has little or nothing to do with the price one pays! I am slowly becoming a convert!

Brenda, I love the red sweater. I guess I am at “that certain age” where I just don’t buy somethng unless I realy think it looks at least pretty o.k. on me. Which sometimes means I don’t find anything at GW. However, I did have a good trip last week. Keep at it. I can hardly wait for you to preview your Spring GW Collection!
Laurie – I can’t wait either. I bought 3 dresses yesterday. I will keep at it, and you’ve inspired me to wear the red sweater tomorrow! So stayed tuned for a couple of days to read about it.
