Inspiration Calendar – Floral and Badass Leather
March 4, 2010Hey all! Sorry I didn’t post last night – I was working at a remote location, and forgot my power cord!!
So even though today is March 4, I am posting for Day 2 of 03-IC, in which I am working my way through March’s Inspiration Calendar. If you’re not familiar with the IC, click here.
Tuesday Inspiration was titled “Floral and Badass Leather”, and the inspirational photo is on the left. Sorry, nothing is going to inspire me to wear a short leather skirt like that – or even pose like that, which I tried to do and failed miserably. But here is my attempt at being “badass” – recognize the leather jacket?
Price Breakdown:

Brown cami: Daisy Fuentes $2.29 (Goodwill)
Pants: Banana Republic $4.89 (Goodwill)
Boots: Ann Taylor $6.59 (Goodwill)
Total Cost: $31.35
Wow – even when I don’t try, I come pretty close to $28, huh?
There are three really great values here:
1. The Ann Taylor dark brown suede boots. LOVE them!
2. The leather jacket – this from outfit#2, which came in second of Gray Dress – You Make the Call?
3. The Banana Republic brown pants – have you ever found a pair of pants that just fit your perfectly, with no tailoring needed? I think this is the third time I’ve worn them since I started my blog, which for $4.89 is quite a good price-per-wear value ratio.
I’m loving the Inspiration Calendar. Who would have thought to pair floral with leather?
